For 2010, the BMW X6 features two engines, the turbocharged, inline 6 cylinder, 3.0 liter engine in the xDrive35i package and the and the turbocharged v8 xDrive50i. A third model of the BMW X6 features a 400 horsepower TwinPower turbocharged engine with a performance boosting electric engine.
The engine for the xDrive 35i features 4 valves per cylinder and variable valve timing camshaft to get the most power and efficiency.
